NFC offensive player of the week

Brett Favre was named the NFC offensive player of the week with 29/38 passes for 286 yards, 3 TD's and one interception against the Giants. He also notched up his 149th career win, passing John Elway with 148.

Linebacker Barrett Ruud of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was name NFC defensive player with 16 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and one fumble recovery against the Saints.

Return specialist Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears was named NFC special teams player of the week with his 7th career return for a td, this one a 73 yard punt return against the Chiefs.

I think Brett Favre is having a great year so far. I love to see him going it after everyone said he needed to retire. I hope he goes all out this season.
