Favre and his offense are struggling but can Brett pull it off against the Philly D.?
The Packers defense is their strong point and McNabb is one wily quarterback, but McNabb is coming back from injury. Can the Packers defense stop him?

That running game is key. Favre isn't getting any younger, and they need to be able to move the ball on the ground if they hope to score. I don't think they can do it, personally. Green Bay's going to have a tough road to hoe if they want to beat Philly on Sunday.

Not that the Packs aren't in trouble, but I think you are way over estimating Philly....what's to like about the Eagles?...Maybe TO is right maybe Favre is better than McNabb...Packers by 1

It should be a good game, but KGB isnt starting anymore. Cullen Jenkins is starting at DE. But B Jackson can run inside and Morency is great outside runner. Should be consistent running game.

i dont think they have much of one .... Favre is one of the best but he will NOT lead this team to the playoffs again

Im very optimistic, so i would say wildcard chances are decent. He has decent receiver weapons with Driver (probowler) and Jennings (decent rookie year) and B-Jack and Morency will make a great inside-outside running combination. So yes, i see them as playoff contenders

Injury update as of Friday Sept. 6
RB Brandon Jackson probable for Sunday
Vernand Morency didnt practice Friday and questionable for Sunday
Donald Driver practiced fully and probable for Sunday.
Greg Jennings who hurt hamstring on Wednesday didnt practice on Friday and questionable for Sunday.

Wow Packers over the Eagles 16-13. I was really surprised about this Packer team. They didnt look as bad as I thought they would. Defense is good, but we knew that. Offense was better than I thought they could be. Oh, and all you who thought Favre was done----the old boy managed to pull a couple out of the hat. The problem is he almost threw a couple more interceptions on a couple of other plays trying to do the same thing. He pulls it off just often enough to make him think he can do it again and that's when he runs into trouble. He also needs to mellow out a little more. Once early in the game, he was so disgusted with his offense he yanked his chin strap right off his helmet. The offense didnt seem to be upset by his behavior, it was like "Oh yeah, Gramps is a little upset again. What's the next play?" His passer rating was only 58.2%. Their rookie kicker looks good.
Maybe this can be a wild card team????????????
