An 82 year old Texas woman who pleaded guilty to trying to extort $2 million from Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr has been sentenced to one year of probabtion.
Ruby Y. Young was also ordered not to have any contact with Starr or his family or to contact the media about an alleged relationship she had with Starr in 1960.
When asked if she still had feelings about Starr and whether or not she had ever sought counseling she replied,"No, but I read my Bible. I know you should forgive. Mr. Starr is the first I'm working on."
A letter she sent to Starr in 2006 read in part, "And now, the time has come for you to pay-to pay for the many injuries you have caused me. I am going to be vindicated one way or another. You know very well that any tabloids or tv newscasters would devour this story."
She declined to comment after Wednesday's hearing.

It wasn't Bridget, it was Page Hopkins from the Fox News Network over the phone. Told her that she had great legs a few times. The judge said a few times too many. Hey they say it on message boards all the time! Her and ED Hill!!!
