Rookie fullback Erryn Cobb was a grounds-crew worker at a suburban Chicago golf course when he worked out for the Packers.
"I've just been trying to stay in shape and working, staying busy," Cobb said Tuesday.
He was signed to a 2 year deal with minimum salary and no bonus money. He fills the spot at safety left when the Packers released Marviel Underwood. He is an exteme long shot to make the roster, with less than 2 weeks to impress before the 53-man cutdown.
