Brett Favre was on Packers cam on the Access show last night. After he got done fooling around with the mike, he got serious.
In their last game he said that they played well on both sides of the ball but that no one should jump the gun because it is preseason.
He talked about the rookie James Jones and said that Jones had as good as hands as anyone else on the team and that Jones reminded him somewhat of Sterling Sharpe. Favre said Jones is not fast, but is physical and makes plays.
Eisen mentioned that Green Bay had the youngest team in the NFL, and did he ever wonder where all the guys had gone? Brett responded that he doesnt have much in common with the young guys and that some of them called him "Sir". Others noted that they had had Brett's poster on their wall in third grade or something.
Eisen then asked Favre to make a statement now about whether or not he was coming back next year. Favre replied that their next game is against Jacksonville, and that's how he focused now. Not the next year, but the next game.
