Well, since pretty much all of the Packers-related news headlines right now are same old, same old, how about we do a fantasy draft like we did with the Cincinnati Reds a few weeks back, only this time for the guys who should make up the starting offensive, defensive and special teams units for an all-time Green Bay squad ?

I'll start with the first pick, and surprisingly, I'm going to go Offensive Line with the greatest eligible player NOT enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a member of the NFL's 50th anniversary team, G Jerry Kramer. Kramer was a five-time All Pro, a member of 5 NFL title teams and 2 Super Bowl championship squads, and could even serve as a reserve placekicker if necessary.

I am going with the great Jim Taylor...over Golden Boy Paul Hornung...though I also liked John Brockington in the early 70's...

Okay, so far we've got RB Jim Taylor and OG Jerry Kramer. I think I'll go defense with the #3 selection and choose S Willie Wood, a 9 time All-NFL selection and the 1962 NFL leader in INTs.

Hey Man, Favre in a run away...Starr was good, but he had Vince and Vince had a team...and yes Lefty, Favre once upon a time was super...you are just sour on him of late.

No, I remember the good-old-days. There's absolutely no doubt Favre was a great QB, but Starr IS a Hall of Famer (although in fairness Brett probably will be a first ballot HOFer in his own right once he does hang 'em up). I think its closer than you guys make it sound, but I will acquiesce.
