| Ferguson To Be Gone From Green Bay It's been six years since Robert Ferguson was selected by the Packers in round two of the NFL draft. And after seasons of unfulfilled promise, Ferguson's tenure with the team is over. "Robert will no longer be a Packer," coach Mike McCarthy said on Thursday. "We're going to go in another direction. We're just moving on [and moving out] with the other guys and that's where it stands right now. I'll have more definitive information for you tomorrow." | Re: Ferguson To Be Gone From Green Bay Yeah, I just heard about this on ESPN. They cut him. Apparently a third-round pick, James Jones or something like that, beat him out. I'm shocked. So how good is this Jones kid? |

| Re: Ferguson To Be Gone From Green Bay On NFL Acess last night, Adam Schefter said that he had worked out with the Vikings on Monday and was going to Houston on Tuesday. Schefter said he would be a good fit in Houston because Ferguson comes from the Houston area and because Mike Sherman is on the Houston staff. Schefter thought that was were he would end up.
