Can it be presupposed that Favre's indecision regarding his retirement reflects the indecisive (and generally poor) playing he exhibited last year?

If he does come back, will he prove to be making even more questionable decisions on the field? And will anyone have the guts to sit him down when the Pack is 1-11?

I heard an interesting theory on NFL Network's Total Access yesterday (I think it might have been John Madden who put it forth) that claims this may all be an attempt to be traded to a contender. I instantly thought of Dallas as a likely candidate for some reason. Again, this is all conjecture, but is it possible that he's dilly-dallying in an attempt to end his career elsewhere?
