| Re: Favre or Clemens? I'm more sick of Clemens. The fact he's a Yankee now adds to the putridness (is that a word?) of it all. The YES Network will have live updates of his performance in the minors and even air his games...he's not Babe Ruth reincarnated. Jeez.... They're acting like he's the savior...he won't be pitching in the 7th and 8th innings or holding up that weak pen. |

| Re: Favre or Clemens? Not living in New York, and thankfully being spared the live updates of Clemens breathing and using the restroom facilities, I have to go with Favre. Both of them have their main and sub soap opera story lines. With both of them, you have the retirement or come back talk. With Roger, you've got his contract and issues it brings. But with Favre, you've got the comeback, the Moss situation and the complaints about the team not helping him, the minicamp issues, the trade demands, etc. etc. etc. So I think Favre gets the nod here by a nose. And I think Roger is a better player than Brett right now.

Really who gives a sh__ !! I'm tired of Clemens. His focus now is the HOF and going in as the Yankee savior. I hope he gets his can beaten silly. |

| Re: Favre or Clemens? It's gotta be Clemens. Favre makes stupid comments and creates a lot of controversy and drama over stupid things but Roger Clemens seems to think he's going to take the Yankees to the playoffs single-handedly. He's nothing more than a #3 pitcher in an aging and over-rated staff already. He didn't look good in AAA ball and he's going to be exposed for what he is this year, which is a 45 year old former great. The Yankees would've been better off spending that money on an everyday player or a strong, young reliever. Clemens is washed-up and I will love every time he starts a game and gets chased out after a few innings after having given up 7 runs. |

| Re: Favre or Clemens? Would that I had that kind of leverage at work...more power to both of them...if you can leverage it...go for it...stick it to the man...(yeah, I know, the man then sticks it to the fan...and the world goes round) |

| Re: Favre or Clemens? Actually, I find Clemens struggles against Single-A ballplayers quite fascinating, funny and a little sad at the same time. But then, I imagine New York fans are getting far more saturation on the story as the rest of the country. All seems to be quiet on the Favre front, at least for now. Right now the story I'm sickest of is Michael Vick. |

| Re: Favre or Clemens? Got to be Clemens.... ESPN's coverage of his minor league starts are a bit much and all the speculation (how he'll pitch, when he'll pitch, why he'll pitch, what he'll feel, how he'll fail, how he'll succeed, etc...) is enough to drive any fan crazy. Enough already. |
