Good grief - what in the world is this team going to look like next season. Favre may retire. Green, Davenport and Fisher are ALL free agents. So are center Mike Flanagan, fullback William Henderson, nose tackle Grady Jackson and defensive end Aaron Kampman. Apparently, Henderson and Flanagan are all but gone. Green might be on his way out too, with Gado likely taking over as starting tailback. But there aren't replacements for the other.

Clearly this team is about to enter the rebuilding phase, big time!

Sure, they may be seem to be hurting, but should Favre retire, they dump Davenport and Green, and let Flanagan go (the only player here that deserves his salary), then the Pack is going to have a lot of cap room.

Every one knows how in this age of free agency, that a team (except for the Texans and Lion) can turn things around quick.

Losing some free agents doesn't scare me as much as having the 49ers OC for a head coach.

Yeah, that one made me shake my head when I heard it. I understand he was hired because of his ties to Favre. But what is Favre retires? Then your team's stuck with an inferior coach for no good reason whatsoever. Stinks of some rather backwards thinking...
