Brett Favre 400th touchdown

In today's game against the Lions, Green Bay QB Brett Favre threw his 400th career touchdown pass. And his 401st. And his 402nd. Favre is now 18 TD tosses away from tying Dan Marino's career record. No other NFL QB has thrown for 400 scores. For one day at least, the old Brett Favre looked like the Brett Favre of old. What do you guys think of this achievement?

Cool Re: Brett Favre 400th touchdown

Of course, in one of my leagues where I'm already 0-2 and needed a win - Favre, playing for my opponent has his first good game in 3 years.

Cool Re: Brett Favre 400th touchdown

About 5 years ago, I thought Brett Favre was in the top 5 quarterbacks I have ever seen (from 1975 and forward - I was too young to see Unitas, Starr, Namath, etc ). Here were my top 5:

1) Marino
2) Elway
3) Montana
4) Bradshaw
5) Favre

Now I'm not so sure anymore if Favre stays on the list. I wonder if Favre's last few years isn't hurting is legacy. What does everyone think?

Re: Brett Favre 400th touchdown

yeah it probably is hurting his legacy a bit, but it was only just last year, the years b4 that they made the playoffs, they went 12-4,12-4,10-6,10-6

but hopefully they can do the same again this year

but if u compile a top 5 qb list dont look at a few season, look at their whole careers

what other qb has 3 mvps (in a row too), averages 30 tds a season and 3500+ yds a season over a 16 year career, won a superbowl, made it to another superbowl the next year, is as fun to watch as favre, etc.
