Tiger Woods destroyed a house Friday morning. The blaze gutted the small, wood-framed home, according to the Palm Beach Post.
Woods is building a larger home on Jupiter Island, where he bought 10 acres of land for $38 million in 2006. The 10-acre property included two boat docks and four houses at the time Woods bought it.
He had recently purchased a number of other homes on the island amid reports he wanted to build a family compound.
Fire investigators are still determining the cause of the blaze, though a severe lightning storm went through the area on Friday morning.
Woods currently lives just outside Orlando, Fla. He and his wife, Elin, welcomed a baby girl last Monday.
