Golden State signs Ronny Turiaf to offer sheet

The Golden State Warriors have signed Lakers C Ronny Turiaf to an offer sheet.

According to the Associated Press, "According to a report on the Los Angeles Times’ web site, the Warriors offered a four-year, $17 million contract to Turiaf, who averaged career highs in points (6.6), rebounds (3.9) and minutes (18.7) last season... The Lakers have seven days to match the offer to Turiaf, but the Times is reporting they are not expected to do so as a result of luxury taxes." So it looks like Turiaf is a Warrior. Good signing?

As expected, the Lakers decided not to match. Turiaf is a Warrior now.

Yeah, I am still debating on this move. I like it cause he is really good at blocking shots (22nd overall last year on less than 20m/game) But as far as the rest of his play, I havn't personally seen it. We needed his presence on defence though most definately.
