Sounds like contract talks between the Warriors and coach Don Nelson have stalled.

According to the Oakland Tribune, "Management's latest offer to Don Nelson — one guaranteed year at $5.1 million, followed by a nonguaranteed season — is a flat-out embarrassment. It's not progress; it's a step backward."

Adds San Francisco Examiner columnist Glenn Dickey, "The Warriors will be committing suicide if Don Nelson walks because of stalled contract negotiations, and team owner Chris Cohan will be the biggest loser."

Well, they finally got the deal done. According to the Associated Press, "Don Nelson and the Golden State Warriors agreed to a new contract Sunday, keeping Nelson as the team's coach again this season... The Warriors did not announce terms of the new deal but the Contra Costa Times reported that Nelson would get a raise from $3.1 million to $5.1 million for the next two years."
