Gardner will return to anchor offensive line

Georgia Tech offensive tackle Andrew Gardner has decided to return for his senior season rather than enter the NFL draft.

Gardner hopes playing in 2008 will help him improve his draft status; an advisory committee of NFL general managers, personnel directors and scouting combine directors estimated he'd have been drafted in the fifth round this year, he said Monday.

Today is the deadline for underclassmen to declare for the NFL draft.
