Georgia Tech freshman forward Thaddeus Young has entered his name into the National Basketball Association draft but will not retain an agent, head coach Paul Hewitt announced Tuesday.
"Thaddeus will enter the draft but not retain an agent, primarily to get more detailed information from NBA personnel regarding his status," said Hewitt.
"Per NBA rules, players and their families cannot speak with NBA personnel unless they are entered in the draft. Many players have entered the draft as a means to gather information and then returned to school. Right now, Thaddeus is working on finishing this semester, and he intends to take classes this summer."
