| Re: Calvin Johnson wins Biletnikoff Award Johnson is definitely the most physically talented receiver, but did he have the best season? I don't know. Samardzija was impressive this year, as was Jarrett at USC and Meachem at UT. Not saying that CJ didn't deserve the award, but the voters certainly COULD have gone in a different direction.

| Re: Calvin Johnson wins Biletnikoff Award I'll be honest. I think a lot of times it's politics. Not who had the best season but who looks best with the award. It's a shame honestly. Most of the voters probably don't even watch all the games. They see highlites. Which does nothing. |

| Re: Calvin Johnson wins Biletnikoff Award You have a point there cwstech. Voters for all these things, awards, polls, BCS, probably don't watch all the games of the teams/players involved. However, I don't think giving it to any of the top receivers in the country would've been a bad move. I don't see that any one player was dominant for 11 games straight. |
