I really doubt that - time will tell. He seems like a nice kid - anybody that likes cartoons can't be all bad. I also read he completed a music appreciation course to qualify - a potential Rhodes Scholar for the Bama faithful I suppose

Stoney you know the SEC is ALL ABOUT SPEED do you really think he will dominate a good SEC OL - I don't. Sure he had some success playing against undersized slow guys in H.S & JUCO.

UGA shaking in fear the OL for UGA averages 6' 6" - 310#'s - and they can move. The plays will be over before ole "Big Foot" figures out which way to run. I predict he will get worn down and frustrated before he becomes all SEC.

I also predict he will never - as in never ever - get a degree from Bama - that is the Saban way.

Ok - so now he is really no different than hundreds of college linemen - just a step slower than most. How did they get 100 pounds off?

That sounds more like it - I was worried that they may have removed that huge head or his gigantic feet

So now we can go back to the big and slow conversation

You forgot strong incredibly strong like HULK strong. Strong enough to force the center into the QB unless you play a shotgun offense. Strong enough to plug up the middle and take a double team leaving someone free to shoot the gaps and sack the QB or stuff the run before it gets started. The only question I have is about his stamina and Nick is working on that.

Re: Has Georgia got an answer for him?

Would you say Terrance Cody is the kind of guy Bear Bryant would have loved to have on his team?

Really? I think Bear would have just loved to put him in on third and short situations waiting for the eventual breakdown on the offense.

Yeah that would work - turn 3rd and short into 1st and goal as the RB blew past his big ole slow over weight butt.

Georgia will get thier chance to see how that works besides there are 10 other fellas on the field wearing the same color jerseys. If two of your guys are stuck blocking him then a spy is free to bust up the play. One of the better examples I can think of was Warren Sapp he was slow and big and very well paid for sacking the QB and stuffing the run. That is what I expect this kid may turn out to be. A force of nature... call him RIP TIDE!

Why bother blocking him - just run right past him before he gets moving. I like your comment about Sapp and being well paid - does that also apply to Rip Tide?
