Only when he is drafted into the NFL.

He won't get drafted - remember the media bias that keeps Bama players from being drafted is lurking in the background - too bad

He may just very well be the next Dorsey/Sapp type player. He is a rare combination of size and strength and I know that Saban has coaches working specifically with him on his footwork and his Karate balance. His swim move is devestating and can dominate an offensive lineman forcing a doubleteam. Even Georgia would make a spot on the roster for the guy. He has the potential to really disrupt the offense from the get go. I just hope he has a healthy season and can build up his stamina. See the thing is Terrance is a menace to the QB sure he is slow compared to ther guys but WHEN he gets his hands on the QB or RB he will be making the highlight reels. You can bet on it!

Nope he wasn't targeted.

He does look good in the films I have seen but ............ he was playing against much smaller, less talented players. The SEC is way different as you well know.

Re: Has Georgia got an answer for him?

Finally some competition for me

Guys got some size, but nothing special if he lost 28 pounds. Just look at ECI's whole line; a high school team with 3 345 pounds! This kid is only one of the newer generation line men nothing special

Tell me who else squats dead lift 700lbs in college? Ken Pantera held the record at 660 until Terrance Cody came along.

That 700 pound squat is hype for the media and fans. How many players weigh 700 pounds? Any lifting over 500 is a waste and creates bulk and slow twitch muscle mass. Give me a line full of guys that can squat 500 pounds with quick feet and brains and I'll whip the daylights out of the giants.

Re: Has Georgia got an answer for him?

BRUTE FORCE wins in the trenches combined with the right techniques {swim move, swat move, bullrush move, angle rush, splitter move, power spin move, and the dreaded feint} Terrance Cody will make plays and cause serious disruptions on ANY offensive line on any team. Because when you concentrate on blocking him with your 500lb squatting linemen a faster more atheletic linebacker or safety or perhaps cornerback is going to blitz through the hole that was created by the blocking scheme. Face it he will cause the coaches to prepare special blocking packages much like Dorsey did. Terrance will get his number of QB hurries and sacks and probably cause a right many turnovers. The big fella also has a knack for getting those big paws of his up forcing the QB to change throwing lanes or check off to another reciever. This gives precious seconds to the blitzer [LB,CB,S or DE] to acquire the QB and sack him. I love defense!
