| Brown dismissed from UGA basketball squad Last season's leading scorer kicked off for violation of team policies The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Published on: 10/26/07 Senior forward Takais Brown has been dismissed from the Georgia basketball team for violation of team policies, according to a release from the university. Brown led the Bulldogs in scoring last season at 14.2 points per game. "I'm both disappointed and sad today to release Takais from the team," UGA coach Dennis Felton said in the release. "He can continue as a student here at Georgia and will remain on scholarship."
