| Stafford and Tebow have history By Josh Kendall Dawg Post Reporter Posted Oct 24, 2007 ATHENS – Tim Tebow keeps up with Matthew Stafford’s progress when he can. Stafford keeps up with Tebow because he can’t help it. “It’s hard not to,” Stafford said. “He’s everywhere you look.” The two sophomore quarterbacks met at the 2005 EA Sports Elite 11 quarterback camp, and their paths were later linked when Stafford came to Georgia and Tebow signed with Florida. So far, Tebow has a decided edge in production, not to mention a national championship ring, but both quarterbacks insist they don’t compare their young careers. “I don’t think about it like that,” Tebow said. “I know (Stafford) is doing a great job at Georgia".
