| Johnson could see playing time against Florida BY DAVID CHING dching@ledger-enquirer.com ---- ATHENS, Ga. A few weeks ago, Jason Johnson sat in Georgia's post-practice interview room with heavy bandages on his hand and discussed how a freak accident had likely ruined his chances to carry the ball in another game. A fall outside an Athens nightclub cut and fractured the hand, leaving the senior tailback unavailable for that weekend's Western Carolina game. Considering Johnson has three career carries, he knew he had blown one of his few remaining opportunities to touch the ball. But fate has again intervened. Now Johnson is in line for possible carries that would be much more significant than the ones he could have received against the Division I-AA Catamounts. Because of injuries to fellow seniors Thomas Brown and Kregg Lumpkin, Johnson finds himself as the backup tailback behind Knowshon Moreno as the 20th-ranked Bulldogs (5-2, 3-2 SEC) prepare to face No. 9 Florida (5-2, 3-2) in Jacksonville.
