| Future uncertain in tight SEC race By CARTER STRICKLAND The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Published on: 10/23/07 Athens — With the SEC East standings tightening up during Georgia's off week, coach Mark Richt refuses to let his mind drift into the what-ifs. "I am taking this baby one at a time," Richt said of the race, which has five of the six teams tied in the losses column. "I quit worrying about all that other stuff." "I am done looking too far into the future, at least this year," he said. What the future holds is still a mystery, but Georgia is still alive in the race. The Bulldogs (3-2 SEC) need a considerable amount of help, however, and likely will have to win out. And they need to forget about history. No team with two losses within the division has ever made it to the title game. The Possibilities
