The mood of the team inside the cramped locker room at Vanderbilt Stadium seemed somber, yet no defeatist attitude percolated from player to player. The visitors' quarters at Vanderbilt are sparse, so perhaps that brought about positive motivation. The closeness of the players packed in such a tight space might have caused a feeding off the energy of those who were thinking positively. Georgia was down by 10, which was certainly not insurmountable. That became the coaching staff's theme. Coach Mark Richt eventually stated the obvious. "Men, now we're going to find out what we are made of." Senior center Fernando Velasco stood above his seated teammates and implored them to "fight like Georgia teams fight." More Here
