UGA '08 recruiting class shapes up highly, isn't finished

Athens — Georgia has got a top-10 wide receiver recruit in A.J. Green.
It has a top-15 defensive tackle recruit in DeAngelo Tyson.

It has got a top-35 running back recruit in Richard Samuel.
And now the Bulldogs want more. That's the way it is in recruiting, too much is never enough. To that end, Georgia is after eight to 10 more players to fill five to six more spots in the class of 2008.
"I would be thrilled to death to nail down one or two great offensive tackles," Georgia coach Mark Richt said. "There's a running back spot that we really need too. I believe we need a great tailback to be added to the group.
"[Other needs are] defensive back and maybe a linebacker that'll just light you up," Richt said. "You just can't really say exactly how it's going fall, but those are some of the things. We feel pretty good most everywhere else."

Georgia has had an impresive group of recruits since before the season even started.
