Strong attitude helps Miller

Linebacker improves instead of sulking about his demotion

ATHENS, Ga. --

Brandon Miller was at a crossroads three weeks ago.
A lackluster effort in Georgia's second game of the season, a 16-12 loss to South Carolina, costs the senior strongside linebacker his starting position. Suddenly, a player Georgia coach Mark Richt called "the whole key to our defense" before the season was on the bench behind redshirt freshman Akeem Dent.
Miller could sulk about the demotion and languish in the obscurity that has followed him for most of his career or he could do something to change it.
He chose the latter. And for the past three games since that one-week demotion, he has been one of the Bulldogs' most dynamic performers on defense and special teams.

Good for him. The attitude adjustment of being shown that the team is not lost without one individual must have worked.

You can get away with that if you have adequate depth - if not
