| Overlooked play `saved the day' Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe says Georgia players hear in practice all the time about going all out on every play until they hear the whistle. Ellerbe and safety CJ Byrd did just that in an overlooked play against Ole Miss. It's the play that helped send Georgia to another SEC win heading into Saturday’s pivotal Eastern Division game at Tennessee. The momentum-changer against the Rebels was Seth Adams' fumble in the shadow of the goal line on a quarterback sneak that Byrd recovered. A play earlier, Ellerbe and Byrd chased down Ole Miss tailback BenJarvus Green-Ellis out of bounds at the 1-yard line on a 20-yard pass play in the first quarter. What I am talking aout is for example: Two players competing for the same starting position one has more natural talent but the other has just a bit less talent but plays with more intensity which would you choose? |
