| Secondary needs help from D-line, linebackers Asher Allen's primary responsibilty is to break up passes or intercept them. As a defensive back, the Georgia sophomore doesn't mind making open-field tackles, but the fewer chances he's forced to do so the better. If the linebackers and defensive linemen are handling their responsibilties, Allen and his secondary teammates can fixate on muzzling the pass. "Obviously, you want linebackers to make the (run) play; you want the D-line to make the play, and the secondary's there to stop the pass," Allen said Tuesday. "You never want the ball to get that deep into the secondary and past the first and second level where we're coming up and having to make the tackle." The scenario of which Allen spoke, however, has become more frequent than pharmaceutical advertising for Georgia's defense during the past two games. Georgia's linebackers and its defensive line, primarily its tackle rotation, have become Cinnabon soft against the run.
