Brown cranks it up in Georgia's victory

Athens — Something was wrong when Thomas Brown dove into the end zone.
Sure, the euphoria was there. And the six points counted for Georgia. But the senior running back felt a pop.

All of those fans pining to anoint talented redshirt freshman Knowshon Moreno as Georgia's starting tailback got plenty of compelling reasons Saturday why coach Mark Richt has stuck with the status quo.
Ole Miss found out exactly what Thomas Brown can do for Georgia. The senior rushed for a career-high 180 yards on 16 carries and three touchdowns to help the No. 15 Bulldogs break open a tight game and roll to a 45-17 victory before a sell-out at Sanford Stadium.

Now that is mental and physical toughness. He played with the heart of a champion and you better believe the pro scouts wwere foaming at the mouth to see that kind of determination.

Re: Brown cranks it up in Georgia's victory

TB seems to be getting better with each game. I have to wonder though if some of the incentive is the constant Moreno hype. UGA fans (myself included) are really excited over Moreno. Everytime he touches the ball I feel the electricity. Maybe Moreno is an inspiration to TB to make him work harder (seems strange to say of course since TB is a Sr. and Moreno is RFr but that's why I said "maybe")
