When preseason practices started 17 days ago, Michael Moore probably would not have been mentioned in the conversation of the top half dozen wide receivers on the Georgia football team.

Now, the redshirt sophomore's name is on the tip of the tongue of Bulldogs coaches and players because of his fast rise up the depth chart.

"Michael Moore has probably made the biggest move of all of them from where he was to where he is now," coach Mark Richt said. "He's really smoothed out his game. He looks like a ballplayer right now.

"We'll see how he handles gametime. He'll get some playing time unless something crazy happens."
