Since I am the chief cook and bottle washer in my household and am expecting a large group for Thanksgiving, I will be a wee bit busy for the next couple of days.
So I want to take this time to wish all of you a very Happy and Joyful Thanksgiving.
In hard times such as these, we tend to forget the many things we are blessed to have. If you are fortunate enough to have family gathered around the table, remember there are many that are alone. If you eat too much and have to loosen the old belt, or take a walk so you can breathe again, remember those who have little or nothing to eat. If there is laughter and good talk, remember those stuck in the throes of depression with nothing to laugh or talk about.
One of my greatest blessings and sources of joy is the family I have found here at GTG.
So feast, be grateful and remember how much you have.

For me this will be the bestest Thanksgiving in 9 years, my granddaughter is going to be with us this year. She came down Friday and will go home Sunday.
