Alright, I know somebody already did this for one of the sports threads but this is general discussion. Had a crazy idea and thought, why wouldn't this work? Post your ideas as well.

What if, instead of fighting wars with real weapons and people, every country used video games to simulate the wars. People would hook up online for a huge gigantic matchup of who is enlisted and all, like (call of duty 4) and there would just be gigantic battles until one country was declared the victor (obviously the last men standing). Every player (soldier) would have 1 life and all. Nobody would actually die, and the winning country would get the spoils. No lives are lost which would be dope. Any thoughts?

Or that makes me think, what if all those in charge of the wars can not play video games? I can do my fair share of damage with some games but not all of them and the last thing I would want is giving a controller over to some tard that doesn't know what the buttons are for.

no no, obviously the Governments army would turn into guys that practice this stuff daily so they're better than these gamers. It's just like a sport, you're good at it because you do it all the time.

I remember jokes going around during Desert Storm about the pilots were so good because they grew up playing video games.
Only the good ones would play in Drfunks what if.

Good to hear then as really I know some people that can play worse than me and that is damn bad. I would not want those in charge.
