| Re: Full Cougar Journal Sorry, Cougar! That's a tough situation! Some people get in an accident, and hardly get a slap, but others really get hit hard! Sounds like you got the rough end of that deal! Hopefully, the insurance company can figure somthing out-- ur rates are going to go up as it is, so to have to pay more for the BMW makes it really tough!

| Re: Full Cougar Journal POST 2 I think this will be the last time I use the post heading. Instead this thread will pretty much be me complaining about football camp. I have triple-sessions starting wendsday. 8 hour practices at the minimum. It really sucks. Then we are going away to a camp in Connecticut for 5 days which is going to be HELL. Not sure how I am going to survive. So yeah I will be gone for those 5 days. Expect me to come on and complain about the days practice when I get home. |

| Re: Full Cougar Journal POST 3 Before I go into other details I thought I would bring in updates on the accident. The claim settled below $10,000. Everything is OK with that now. Anyway applying to college is a huge hassle. The major I want is film. That is only offered by a few schools, most of which are extremely hard to get into. This means some of the schools I could get into, that don't offer my major, would be a waste of time. So that brings me to a huge decision in my life. Do I go to the community college for a year or two? Bring up my grades and transfer to a good college that has my major? Most out of state colleges cost about $50,000 a year after all expenses. My community college would be about $3,000 a year. So I would save a TON of money. Only thing is, I don't get that 4 year experience. A lot of people would say choose fun over money, but its a little different in this case. On top of that I'm not even sure if I can get my major if I go in as a junior. A lot of schools now have you specializing as a sophomore. Which could cause me to miss out. My football team just finished the regular season with a record of 1-4. So now it is just Bowl and conciliation games left. After that I should get on the forum much more. Anyone have any words of wisdom for my college situation? |

Or even UCF here is rather cheap compare to most college programs and the film school is pretty good... those people that did "Blair Witch Project" came out of that program I believe.

| Re: Full Cougar Journal POST 4 Football is almost over. Our last game as a team is on friday and my last game as a player ever. Only problem is that I sprained my MCL yesterday in practice. The trainer told me to sleep on it and come back to him tomorrow and see how I feel. He says I should see a specialist at some point because he thinks there is a bigger problem below my knee cap. He says when I see a doctor is up to me depending on how much I want to play on Friday. I'm really not sure what to do. Anyone know how to make an MCL heal faster? |
