| Re: Fight 3- yo skinny man vs kkfan91 Ok I'm not a huge follower of college football but Tebow is a good college player. If he wasn't good would Florida have won the national championship? When it comes to the NFL however I don't believe that Tebow will be a star if he becomes a quarterback I see him as a less talanted version of Micheal Vick before the dog fighting. If he is taken by an NFL team which he probably will be he will be a a either second round or later even. Possibley Skinny's Jag's could be desperate enough

| Re: Fight 3- yo skinny man vs kkfan91 Aww, good ol' Timmy Tebow! I think it's hard to say how Tebow's skill would translate to the NFL... I mean, sure, he size and athletism combo do make him one of the greatest college football players in recent memory, but I don't think he has what it takes to be a QB in the big leagues! Obviously, Urban Meyer's spread offense hasn't seemed to translate to good NFL productivity. In fact, no ones' seems to. Look how Alex Smith has turned out! Sure, his touchdown to int ratio is incredible (67-11 overall) and his yards are near 3,000 every year, and his completion percentage for his career at Florida is near 66%. But that can all be excused... The talent around him his superior to their competitors most of the time, and the spread offense is based on throwing short, quick passes- easy passes for most quarterbacks. I have yet to see Tebow throw 25 yards downfield with pinpoint acuracy consistently. I think he should, but won't, switch position... ya know the obvious TE or LB, maybe even FB. He's fast and hard-nosed... also a great leader. I think he could be a great NFL player, just not a great NFL QB. As for a team to draft him? I wouldn't be surprised to see him go 1 overall next season as a QB... it'd be a mistake in my estimation, but then again, Alex Smith was a number one pick too!

| Re: Fight 3- yo skinny man vs kkfan91 Of course there is no debate that he isn't a great college player the stats shown there back that up. I however still hold my belief he will be a mid round pick. Based on how much time ESPN wastes saying how players will do in the pros you'd think teams would realize he is not a franchise quarterback. An example he reminds me of slightly of is Micheal Robinson Penn States quarterback/wide reciever back in 2005. He was a good but not great quarterback. He went into the pros with the 49ers but is he the quarterback? Nope I'm not sure anyone knows who might be the 9ers qb but Robinson is now a running back a position i believe destined for Tebow. Though if he were drafted as a quarter back I see it being the Miami Dolphins with their wildcat offense Robinson btw was drafted in the 4th round around where i would expect Tebow. ANd btw I'm not saying Micheal Robinson was as good as Tebow because he isn't but they have similar skills |

| Re: Fight 3- yo skinny man vs kkfan91 On my unofficial score card, I got Skinny ahead...the Alex Smith shot was a good crisp blow... I am expecting a flurry of wild punches from my man KK, but it hasn't come yet...come on KK...go wild man...you are a puncher! not a boxer!...you can't outbox this guy...go for the wild heymakers!!!... |

| Re: Fight 3- yo skinny man vs kkfan91 KK.. you're joking, right? Michael Robinson is not even a poor-man's Tebow... they're not comparable for two reasons... First, size! Robinson, according to ESPN, was 6-2, 215 in college... while Tebow is 6-3, 240! Tebow is significantly bigger! Infact, he's too big to be a RB in the NFL... that's why his body better suits him for the FB position, if you wanna put him in the backfield. Secondly, Robinson is nothing close to Tebow as a passer, (though it seems you're now defending Tebow being a RB? Since he's like Robinson?) Here are Robinson's QB ratings during college comparted to Tebow: 2004 : Robinson - 55.33 2005 : Robinson - 127.17 2006 : Tebow - 201.73 2007 : Tebow - 172.47 2008 : Tebow - 172.37 The point is... don't compare the two... they're way different in most ways! As a QB, I wonder if Tebow has it in the clutch... I mean, he threw as many INT's in the BSC National Championship as he did during the entire regular season... And the big game saw Tebow's worst QB rating in the entire season - BY NEARLY 20 points!!! I question if Tebow has what it takes to get it done in the clutch, or when the competition gets really good! |

| Re: Fight 3- yo skinny man vs kkfan91 I've not been arguing the quarterback skills like i mentioned I am comparing the running and how Tebow could fair in the NFL when you compare their best season rushing wise Robinson- (2005) 163 carries for 806 yards (4.9 avg) and eleven touchdowns, becoming the first player in school history to throw for over 2,000 yards and rush for over 500 yards in the same season. 806 yards set a school season-record for quarterbacks and became the first quarterback in Penn State history to run for at least ten touchdowns in a season Tebow (2007) attempts 210yards 895touchdowns 23 As you can see they do have similar skills sets with running I do agree that Tebow is bigger and more powerful and would make a better fullback then running back but no team will take him as a full back he won't make it as a quarterback and if he wants to get in he will have to be a running back and the numbers show he can do it because Robinson has been able to do it in the pros and thats my arguement and again like i said at the beginning I don't follow college sports so i did my best |

| Re: Fight 3- yo skinny man vs kkfan91 Yep! We agree on this one! (which end's the discussion, or what?) Tebow is an odd-duck... It's uncommon for a player of his talent level to be so widely debated on how sucessful he will be in the NFL. I've seen mock drafts that have him in the top ten picks next year, some that don't have him even in the first round, and some people don't think he should even be drafted!! He's a little Matt Jones-ish, a big, fast, freak athlete that might make the switch to another position in the NFL-- But the guy has run the spread offense in every level of football he's been in- even HIGH SCHOOL! I don't think a team could rely on him to run some other offense; and certaintly not right out of the gate. His accuracy, and his ability to go through his progression to its entirity before using his legs have been questioned as well. Final thought- he DOES appear to have the tangibles and the intangibles to be a productive NFL player... just not a quarterback! |

| Re: Fight 3- yo skinny man vs kkfan91 and as quickly as it started...the bout ends..."Ali-Frazier I" this was not...sure it had its moments...Skinny piled on the stats...KK went into the famous "I am not a follower of college football" defense...Skinny threw a few punches...the two clinched for a round or two...the Ref, Cougar, not breaking them up and asking them to throw more punches... This was not paid per view watching...more like a prelim HBO bout...one can only hope for more action in "Skinny - KK II"... |
