I'd say Sir Jackie is a bit optimistic. It's possible but... By my reckoning Hamilton has an average finish for the season of 5.06th place. Massa has 6.2 Give that one to Hamilton. Hamilton has 12 podiums for 84 points, or an average of 7 points per podium. Massa has 10 podiums for 77 points, or 7.7 points per podiums. That one to Massa. With three races to go, if they continue their average podiums, Massa will fall just a little short. If they continue their average finishes, Hamilton wins hands down. It's mathematically possible but I think the title is Hamilton's to lose.

| Re: Stewart's backing for Massa Yeah, but these are the greatest, most talented race drivers in the entire world, right? Surely he wouldn't fall prey to something like that in the final stretch, would he? |

| Re: Stewart's backing for Massa I stand by my previous statement that the title is Hamilton's to lose. Seven points in three races against a driver of Hamilton's caliber (tendency to err aside) is a lot of ground to cover. |
