Here's what he actually said:

"Unfortunately, when running on circuits better suited for the equestrian circus or something else anything can happen, because the show is the Safety car. This is humiliating for F.1. I want to talk about this in the coming weeks with all the other teams."

the man knows how to turn a phrase, doesn't he?

but, what, if anything, can he accomplish besides getting the teams to express displeasure with the situation? Max'll just tell them to go "pound sand"...

Re: Ferrari boss voices concerns

Montezemolo publicly expressed his dislike witch such tracks after Valencia (won by Ferrari) and was one of the founders of the overtaking committee.

As to the tracks, Ecclestone is in charge of that, not Mosley. Montezemolo is now in charge of the recently founded Formula One Teams Association so he has some leverage with some teams.

In that case, it looks like Montezemolo will get even less cooperation from Ecclestone than he might have from Mosley.
