The GoTeamsGo Fan Forum has decided to launch a brand-new football picks game, operated by our very own members. It is easy to play and will only take about three minutes of your time each week as long as you know your stuff. The simplest way to describe the game is "pick the winner". Below is the official rulings and terms of use that will be used throughout this season.

--All picks must be in at least one hour before opening kickoff (So Thursday evening at 7 is for the opening weekend).

--One point for each correct winner picked (zero points for ties, because we don't approve of ties)

--Five points if you correctly pick the score of the MNF game (If you can do that, I think you deserve a hefty genius type bonus)

--Anyone can join the game at any time during the season. If someone joins the GoTeamsGo Fan Forum at the mid-season point, they will not be able to win "Prediction Guru", but we don't want to keep them out of the fun.

--To keep up full strength throughout the quest for the Super bowl, anyone can join and even advance their ratings throughout the Playoffs. We always like some late-season drama where users come from behind to win it all.

Every week will will update a specified thread will the latest rankings in order of prediction points. The top ranked user at the end of the season with the most prediction points will be named the " Prediction Guru". Will that honored user be you?

Just for your future knowledge, Simple Simon will be directing the league while MJHMarc is in head charge of the website where you submit your predictions.

I have to make a brief announcement to all the forum members. A couple of the members submitted their picks for Week One of the NFL Season and forgot to indicate their GoTeamsGo Username as required. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept those predictions since nobody has claimed them. If you made predictions yesterday, August 30th 2006, then please re-do them.

it was all a bad dream

if i keep telling myself that, does it make it so ?

we tried everyone we really did and we had good intentions.....but sometimes life has a way of getting in the way

between my grandmother and Marc's work schedule this idea just got a little left behind this season and i apologize
