5 Most Clutch Quarterbacks Today

  1. Tom Brady-Guy has 3 Super Bowl rings
  2. Ben Roethlisberger-2 Super Bowls and an impressive list of 4th quarter comebacks
  3. Peyton Mannning-you want him to be the guy who has his hands on the ball
  4. Kurt Warner-only 1 Super Bowl win but played well even in his losses
  5. Donovan McNabb-even with teams that werent super talented, he took them deep into the playoffs.

What do you think of this list? Agree with any, disagree with any?

Flacco is an interesting choice. Hasnt played as many games as the others, but for a young quarterback he took his team farther than you would expect with the talent he had around him.
Now Matt Ryan played well, but he had more talent to work with.
As far as Eli goes, this year will tell if he is the quarterback some think he is, or if he will fall to the wayside with out the likes of Burress and Toomer to help him out.

Getting lucky 1 time doesn't really make him a clutch qb.

What about that one time in the Playoffs were he messed up the field goal allowing the home team to win. Doesn't look that lucky now

McNabb???? Oh please...what has he done...ever???...even Eli's win over the Patsies has been bigger than anything McNabb has ever done in the NFL...

If I had a choice, I would take McNabb over Eli any day. No matter who McNabb has around him, he is dangerous.
Eli doesnt scare me unless he has a bevy of top notch talent around him. Then he might get lucky and hit the right target.
Think toughness, heart, and the ability to make plays with his legs. (ok,not so much today anymore) who comes to mind?

Not McNabb, the man TO took to task for showing up out of shape for the Super Bowl...really now, if you are gonna throw Brady and his rings, and Big Ben and his (which he owes to the Defense) and then stick McNabb in there with the them...I gotta ask, what as he done? And how many Super Bowls has he visited without my man TO???
