McNabb was sick for the Super Bowl. No way he could have prevented that. But he did the best he could. Hard to throw a football when you are puking your guts out. Harder yet to care.
And once again I repeat, Super Bowl is overrated as far as the defining standard for quarterbacks. We are talking toughness here.
And speaking of which, Brady has been lucky in that regard. He is too much of a pretty boy to be tough.

You said "Clutch" QB...a Clutch QB finds a way to win...the Super Bowl is a big game to win...Staubach, Montana, Bradshaw, Elway, Favre...all clutch QBs...McNabb...not so much...he is overrated in my book...

...and you say sick, I say out of shape...

Clutch is Staubach getting his bell rung in a 1973 playoff game against the Rams, playing the rest of the game in a fog and winning...Clutch is Staubach being injured all of 1972, coming in to relief Craig Morton with the Cowboys 2 TDs down and pulling off a playoff win against the 49ers...So, you said Clutch...and Clutch means you find a way to win...McNabb is not that player...Eli for all the criticsm he takes found a way against the 16-0 Patriots on a final drive...that is clutch...
