i would think we all must have a team we hate.....just because

it may not be the players or the coaches

heck you may just have had a bad cup of coffee in the city

for me, it's the 49ers

cant stand them

i think Debartalo really rubbed me the wrong way, he always seemed so slimey

now, in this situation i would say it's acceptable to cheer for some players on the team (i never had anything against Montana Rice or Lott) nut you hope the team goes 0-16

so, who is it for you ? the team you just dont like for no real reason ?

Washington...the whole rivalry thing with the Cowboys...hated Allen's over the hill gang as a kid in the 70's....hated the "fun bunch" the hogs and Joe Theismann in the 80's (though Riggins was okay)...hate their uniforms...the ugly Stadium they play in...the name...and everything else this side of Sonny Jurgenson.

I must admit that I had a grudge against the Kansas City Chiefs. It was the same kind of thing with the Boston Bruins in hockey. I just always hated them for one reason or another but I cannot explain why.

I guess it is because of their team colors and logo. For some reason their logo isn't anything eye-catching and I don't appreciate the team colors they chose. Red and white doesn't work for me except if it is combined with a dark color.

Trent Green never amazed me as a quarterback, and I couldn't stand their studio shots that they used a couple of years ago. They had their whole roster suit up in red turtlenecks which looked too professional on guys who go out onto the field and eat dirt when they are rammed down by the opposing teams. Priest Holmes is a good player and all, but I don't think I could ever become a fan of the Chiefs. It is nothing personal, but they just don't "click" with me.

Being a Giants fan, I hate/despise/can't stand the Eagles, Cowboys or Redskins.

Besides those, I don't have a liking for the Rams or 49ers. Both were in years past under different regimes.

For some reason I started my dislike of the Rams as they won the Super Bowl (I was rooting on the Titans and only a yard short) with Warner, Holt, Faulk, Bruce, etc. That dislike though pretty much came to an end when Warner came to the Giants and was a damn good person during the whole Eli Manning saga.

With the 49ers it was because of that horrible Giants loss in the Wild Card Playoff game in 2002. With Owens especially, but I can't harbor any ill will these days because the team is just awful.

So I guess these days, I just dislike the division rivals.

I'd have to say the Eagles as well. I guess it's because they beat Dallas back in 79/80 to go to the Super Bowl, and lost to Oakland.

I absolutely despise the Carolina Panthers. I hate their coach (when they show him clapping his hands over on the sideline I want to gag), I hate their cocky, overrated QB, I hate their uniforms, I hate (but then loved ) how the media would pick them to go to the superbowl every single year over the last few years only to fall short, especially last year......

And I love that the one year they went to the SB they lost, unlike my Bucs!!!!!
