Do women care for football like men do?

Stoney and I got into this discussion a bit in another forum and it seemed like an interesting subject. Now this could apply to any male dominated sport but since football is my passion, this is about football.
Do you think women care about football like men do?

Re: Do women care for football like men do?

Some do, some don't, just like with men.

I know my Mother does, my fiance does, every woman I've dated did.

Maybe that is just the type I attract!

I have found in going to sporting events that there are a ton of women at any of em, and most of em dressed in team gear, not just hanging out wtih the hubby.

I know some think otherwise, but around here at least, they can be worse than the men.

Re: Do women care for football like men do?

I think maybe in general men tend to be more into it than women. Just about every guy I know loves football, but I don't know as many women who do. My mom hates it. My wife has started to come around...I think it has more to do with the sports art I've started collecting (artist is Rick Rush). She loves art and wants to see what "inspired" the artist.

Re: Do women care for football like men do?

I can see both sides of this. I have 4 sisters and only 1 will watch any game with me, and we have 1 brother than doesn't like any sport. Of all nieces and nephews its more mans like and females dislike but that just might be my insane family too.

Nope, wouldnt dream of rushing you but first you said you had model girlfriend (by which I thought you meant she modeled for a living) then you said you were happily married and now you are only engaged. Just getting confused, thats all.

nah she still is a model, we were going out (3 years) till i proposed to her. I've always pretty much considered her my wife because we do everything that a married couple does except for actually being married so i still refer to her as my wife. we're supposed to tie the knot about 6-7 months from now. Her folks want a big wedding.

Re: Do women care for football like men do?

Men have sports in their DNA...women are also passionate but cannot b called equals....My mom cheers for the Cowboys whenever she sees them play but gets back to cooking and stuff soon....keeps asking me for the match results afterwards.....So my answer would be NO....they are not as passionate as we men are......we're tough!!!
