What is up with the REFS this year. They are blowin calls left and right. Not to mention I haven't seen so many flags since the Olympics. It seems every other play there's a flag, and it's a stupid flag, then you turn around and they don't call a penalty that should be called.

well has anyone speculated that some of these refs could possibly be gambling like the NBA ref? If you remember when the NBA had about maybe 2-3 season where the calling was just insanely horrible, that same ref was reffing those games and was found to have been gambling. Anyone thought Hucchuli or however you spell it might be doing the same?

I totally agree, even the announcers laugh at the dumb calls made by the refs. Sometimes its just like, wow are you blind? They are inconsistent and many blown calls usually lead to a teams victory, and that shouldnt be the case.

But the thing with Ed Hocchuli's crew is disturbing. That was always a good crew.

Bette it seems worse then usuall... and your right about Hocchuli.... that's what I said when I first saw the incident. I was shocked as he hardly ever screws up.

On the whole though, across the league jsut seems horrible. Last year was bad, but compared to this year it was perfect.
