Vick thinks he'll play in the NFL again

Michael Vick joined a bankruptcy court meeting on speaker phone from Leavenworth and told his creditors he expects to play in the NFL again.
Vick says his lawyer and agent are in talks with the NFL. He said neither he nor anyone working in his behalf is talking to United Football League.

ProFootballTalk.com - VICK THINKS HE’LL PLAY IN NFL AGAIN

Interesting. The commissioner of the UFL says there is a 98% chance Vick will play in that league.
But the NFL?
This is another story that never really goes away isnt it? Will the NFL let him play again?

Vick could play waterboy, everyone that is thirsty would get a drink... as long as no dogs run on the field.

Yea he could play, but what team would actually take him in...It would give their organization a really bad rep.

Baltimore or oakland would take him in a heartbeat. They have somewhat of a history with trouble players. As much as they are in love with romo, dallas wouldn't shock me either.

It would shock me. Not much Dallas does shocks me, but this definitely would.

And sure some team will take him if it looks like he can still play. Thats because there is such a shortage of quality quarterbacks.

Re: Vick thinks he'll play in the NFL again

In my opinion i think its pretty crappy that he was charged so much and given such a long sentence(23 months). What about OJ? I think they're trying to use him as an example, besides it is a dogs nature to fight for dominance as it is in any other animal. I do think its retarded that he "found Jesus" when he got in caught.

Unfortunatly yes. Wish it was different. Wish Godell gave a flying **** about the game, and what it means to some people.

It may be a dogs, or any animals nature, to fight for dominance but in what situation ? When being confronted by another threat or just for fun ? These animals were forced to fight or be killed. Slight difference there. OJ got off on technicalities more than the lack of guilt. In such cases there needs to be only "reasonable doubt", not innocence. If the justice system deems that 23 months is the time for the crime, then just what part of that is unfair ? After all he is guilty and was convicted by his peers. No one forced him to abuse those animals and I'm pretty confident that the animals would have chosen a nice comfy loving home versus where they ended up had they had a choice.

1st point: Of course i see your point but they made a huge example of him which was wrong, 1st offense in most states are only 60 days. Im not condoning that dogfighting or any other cruelty to animals is right but it is a slight bit outrageous don't you think? Most people are treating there pets better than most kids, if parents beat there kids they refer to it as discipline. Have you watched any of the shows on animal planet? They will try to take you to jail if a water pale is turned over by the pet and they assume you haven't given the thing water in ages, people are beginning to get obsessed with these things.
2nd point: ( Everyone in America is possessed with greed)Someone just last year tried to sue me because my jack russell bit him i had a sign up saying beware of dog and i even told the man he would bite but the man walked right up and tried to pet him the dog bit him and his hand began to bleed(no reason to lie i laughed at the idiot) he took me to court and explained the situation it was decided in my favor. The government pulled as much money as they could from vick.

Are views may contrast but i am not trying to offend anyone and sometimes its kind of fun to have a friendly debate with someone whos point isnt just "your wrong and thats it"

I'm sure there will be some teams in need of a running back when he gets out.

Most team would be a fool not to take him. Do you want to win? Vick even though he is an evil dog abuser, he still won football games. The Falcons used to love him.

He'll be back.

Oh, there's no doubt Mexico will be back in the league, notwithstanding the fact he is a scumbag and IMO was very overrated (as a QB) when he was playing.
