Not sure if this thread has been started yet, but here one is anyway.

So who has played the new Madden 09? I got it a couple days ago and overall I like it better than the previous Maddens'.

The only bad thing I would point out is the graphics are grittier and don't seem as good as they were, but overall gameplay is much better.

Have you guys played it?
What are your favorite new features?
Most disliked thing about Madden 09?
Any other comments?

I just like playing with the Vikings who are ranked 90, not 77 anymore.

I haven't played it, but I have seen it. The gritty graphics was an attempt to add add some realism to the field, but it looks bad.

The photos on the game they have of all the players look so much different then their real photos

Nope haven't had a chance yet, but thinking about getting it soon.
I'm pondering adding a PS3 to my entertainment center and will probably give Madden a whirl for that if and when I do.
