unfortunately, you are right on both counts. He signed a one year deal with Oakland last year because that was the only team that would give him a chance and the quarterback situation was so bad there he knew he would get a chance to start. He didnt exactly make a good impression but the people surrounding him werent so great. I'm sure that's what he is telling himself. I dont think he wants to play all that bad.
And I kind of wonder what he weighs now. He always was a big man and how good of football shape is he in? It's either a back up job for him or get out of football entirely.
