Here's a list of the ten not-so-bright people/groups in the NFL today:

1. Trent Green- Trent's appearance on the list is two fold. One is for trying to block 6-3, 315 lb. Travis Johnson at the knees with his head. Number is coming back.
2. Cincinnati Bengals crew of troublemakers- do they decide to run afoul of the law or are they just stupid?
3. Leadership of the Bengals and Lions- enough said
4. Matt Millen- see No. 3
5. Bill Belichick- learn to take responsibility
6. Pats video assistant who got caught- all you had to do was not get caught
7. Lane Kiffin- should have stayed at your cushy job at USC
8. Cedric Benson- getting busted twice for about the same offense in about the same place
9. Draft picks who hold out- never having played a down in an NFL game you are in no position to greedy
10. Any player who messes with Ed Hochuli- not only is he buff, but also one of the best refs in the league. Besides, in his day job he's a lawyer.

I was kind of surprised at Belichick being in here, even if it humorous. Never thought of calling him dumb for anything. The rest I go along with.

I guess Michel Vick is missing from the list cuz, he isn't in the NFL today, but if he was I think he would be number one on the list.

Bill Belichick is one of the smartest coaches ever, and one of the dumbest. A true genius at coaching, but like other famous geniuses, dumb at other things. Roger Godell is an idiot for not removing Belichick from the league. You can add the owner of the Pats for not getting rid of Belichick so the team, and the league can move on.

Harold has a point about Vick unless you want to put Matt Millen up at the top. For such a great player the man knows nothing about how to run a team.

How in the world can these writers call draft picks dumb when they use the system for all it's worth? I don't like it either, but the simple fact is these kids and their agents know they can milk the owners for these multimillion deals. If anyone in the equation deserves to be called dumb, it's the owners who willingly fork over the big bucks to these entry-level employees.

Blank drafted Vick, signed Peerless Price to a big money deal, hired Petrino, and I'm pretty sure he also fired the only coach to take the Falcons to the Super Bowl (Reeves), so yeah, I can see where he might earn a spot on this list.

If you want to blame any coach, I'd think it's him, although I believe Dan Reeves was coach when Vick was drafted.

LSC I'm a Bears fan, I'm supposed to hate the Packers. To tell you the truth, I don't even hate them. No I'm not a Pats fan, but I'm not anti-Patriots. I still don't like what Belichick did, still think he should be gone. Please don't take it that I'm trying to rub salt in the wounds.
