I think the worst team ever to make and lose a Super Bowl is the Giants team that lost to the Ravens. Consequently, I also think the Giants beat the best team ever to lose the big game in the Super Bowl XXV Buffalo Bills. Worst team ever to win the Super Bowl... hmm, gotta think about that one. It *might* be the Super Bowl III Jets, but I'm not sure that's the one I want to go with.

I thought about that Giants team too. The '72 Redskins' offense didn't strike fear in anyone. Plus any team with Tony Eason or Stan Humphries as their starting QB has to be considered.

Hmm, good point. And I believe Chris Chandler was the Falcons QB when they went to the Super Bowl in the 1990s, correct?

Good point also. Those Denver teams that lost only had John Elway on offense, no running games whatsoever.

I forgot about the Super Bowl XXIII Bengals. Yeah, that was a very good team that just ran into a better one.

Any of the Cowboy teams that lost a Super Bowl were pretty darn good teams. The David Woodley Dolphins had no business being in a Super Bowl.

If James Francis didn't drop a Joe Montana pass that hit him in the chest in the last minute of the game while in the endzone the Bengals would have been Super Bowl XXIII Champions, and the whole world would have been doing the Ickey Shuffle!!
