NFL fates hinges on 7 bounce-back veterans

Some NFL teams are counting on veterans bouncing back after disappointing seasons. Here are some offensive players that are looking ready to come back:
  1. Jake Delhomme, Quarterback of Carolina Panthers
  2. Steven Jackson, Running back of St. Louis Rams
  3. Larry Johnson, Running back of Kansas City Chiefs
  4. Marc Bulger, Quarterback of St. Louis Rams
  5. L.J. Smith, Tight end, Philadelphia Eagles
  6. Laveranues Coles, Receiver of New York Jets
  7. Todd Heap, Tight end of Baltimore Ravens

Recovered or not, do you think any of these guys have pretty much run the course in their careers?

I think there's a lot of guys on that list who really need to show us something this year. In order of most likely to rebound in 2008 to least: LJ, Jackson, Coles, Smith, Bulger, Delhomme and Heap. The two tailbacks should recover nicely, then the rest are pretty much interchangable until you get to Delhomme (really on the hotseat) and Heap (he's done).

Everything I hear about Delhomme sounds like he's along pretty good.
You think LJ is coming back? I dont. Not anything like he was at any rate. Jackson, yes. Coles, no.
