King thinks the Packers are the third best team in the NFC? Wow... didn't see that coming.

My gut reaction is to say, "YES!" because I don't think they're the same team without Favre. I'd put the Vikings, Eagles and maybe the Bucs over them. Those teams all have issues of their own, but are stronger than the Pack on the whole in my opinion. I don't think they win their division this year, and I'm not even sure they're Wild Card caliber. So of course I think they should be lower.

Re: Ranking the teams with Peter King

Sorry but they rank the Titans not only at number 21 but also a place below the Texans

Are the Titans not better than the Vikings, Panthers, Eagles, Bills, Jets and Saints?

I think the Browns could be right. They had one of the best offenses last season, and they made some moves to try and improve their defense. If they can now stop the run, they will be a very good team.

Better than the Texans, yes. Better than the Vikings, Eagles, Saints, no. Better than the others? It's a toss up.

your telling me that the Titans, who made the playoffs this year despite the fact we finished third in the division are not better than the Vikings, Saints and Eagles...based on what?

Number 1. That was last season.
Number 2. You didn't play behind GreenBay.
Number 3. These are 2008 Pre-Season Rankings.
