| Re: Relocation, Who Do You Think Is Going Where? Montreal can be another possible alternative. But more likely Vancouver though if the NFL were to come to Canada and somewhere besides Toronto. |

| Re: Relocation, Who Do You Think Is Going Where? does any not think that if new orleans do(God Forbid)move that the jags wouldn't be tempted to go the superdome? its a proven fan base and not to far to relocate.also new orleans would treat them as saviours |

I think the real answer is an expansion team, or the Jags.

| Re: Relocation, Who Do You Think Is Going Where? The NFL is adamant about not expanding so if LA wants a team it will have to woo the Jags, Saints, Bills, Vikings, and all the teams with stars in their eyes thinking of having a stadium with a mini-mall and all the celebrities that the camera can focus on during a game. So far it looks like Red McCombs is in the lead for having his team move to LA.

| Re: Relocation, Who Do You Think Is Going Where? It sure is and they have a lot of great fans there but what they don't have is a new multiplex stadium with sushi restaurants and all that glitz and glamor that LA can provide. McCombs seems like he's drooling over that new stadium being built in LA and crossing off the days on his calendar with excitement till 2011!! |

Red McCombs? He doesn't own a football team, he sold the Vikings a few years back. Zigi Wilf bought the team and has been working really hard to secure a new stadium in the Twin Cities area, he hasn't got terribly far with the legislature, but he isn't going give up and eventually something will get done. I would be absolutely shocked if the Vikes ever move. |

| Re: Relocation, Who Do You Think Is Going Where? Vikings will stay because of the rivalries. Saints will stay in New Orleans. Bills should move the 100 miles to Toronto, because of money and die hard Bills fans will make the trek 8 times a year. LA will get the Jags, though Alabama is more sensible, to maintain alignment and fan base. My vote is no realignment. Look at what happened to the Pittsburgh penguins when the team was going to be sold, going to the Finals just a couple of years later. |

| Re: Relocation, Who Do You Think Is Going Where? Okay, but... how many pro football teams have already been run out of L.A.? That's the point. It's not like Los Angeles didn't have a chance to support a team. They've had several: the Raiders, the Chargers, the Rams. All left the city for greener pastures. So why should L.A. get another chance when several communities of dedicated football fans haven't had a shot at supporting a team as of yet?

You were correct though about McCombs salivating at the opportunity to get out of Minneapolis, he however wanted to take a team down to San Antonio (his hometown) first and then LA second. I agree outside of expansion that the Jags seem to be the most logical to relocate (other than the Bills to Toronto). I just don't think that it should be to LA though, there are many more deserving cities that deserve a shot before LA. Of course the league has a short memory and wants a team back there, oh well. |
